The red panda at Marwell WildlifeWe have got another Valentine’s offer to add to our list. This time it involves a third party. That's him (or her) on the left.
Terravina in the New Forest have adopted a red panda. It lives at Marwell and their ‘Panda Valentine’ break includes a personal introduction.
More and more hotels, certainly the ones on this site, are dreaming up different ideas to make your stay in them more fun.
They think of a reason for you to stay on a particular day or for a particular break. The reasons range from learning more about wine, garden tours (when the weather is a bit better), watching an air display to solving a murder mystery.
At Linthwaite House there is an interesting and unusual opportunity for Keith Floyd fans to reminisce with someone who knew him well.

TERRAVINA
21 February Iona Winery, in beautiful Elgin South Africa is relatively new. Their first vintage was 2001 and has already made a name on the International scene for its piercing and very aromatic Sauvignon Blanc. At Terravina Andrew Gunn, the proprietor, tells you about it. £70 per person to include dinner.
21 March
Christopher Campbell gives a talk about the Rothschild Wine Stable. £125 per person to include a four course dinner. Special rates to stay the night for the wine events.
24 February
If you have always wanted to know why our loo rolls include Aloe Vera, Diane Moore will tell you all about 'The Healing Properties of Aloe Vera' at a special lunch. £25 per person.
